Chairman of Iran National Space Administration;

Satellite services that can be provided for public organizations will be introduced.

Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: there is a lack of comprehensive knowledge about space technology abilities and facilities in executive organizations, which has to be introduced to applicants.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, mentioned the improper use of satellite services by government organizations, stating: the majority of authorities have little knowledge about satellite services. Therefore, there needs to be a broad informing in this area.

He added: currently, applicants have be relatively informed about the presence of free satellite information, trying to use these data in their work.

According to Manteghi, a wide range of services must be provided to eliminate the satellite needs of applicants, so that all of the demands of applicants are constantly eliminated.

Chairman of Iran national space administration continued: a group of applicants have no information about how to use the free satellite information.

He also asserted: usability of space-related information, extraction of which must be quickly prioritized and implemented, is more important, compared to design, production and launch of satellites.

According to Manteghi, a plan has been designed in Iran national space administration to familiarize all organizations with special usability in the next three years. In this regard, he affirmed: available satellite services will be introduced to government organizations in the next three years.
